1983 U.S. Ryder Cup Team Autographs

The 25th Ryder Cup Matches were held at the PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The United States team won the competition by a score of 14½ to 13½ points, the closest Ryder Cup since the tie in 1969. In their third competition with players from the continent, Europe showed the ability to realistically challenge the Americans. This was the first of four occasions that Tony Jacklin was the European captain and the sole occasion that his side lost.

This historic piece contains a signature from all U.S. Team members - Lanny Wadkins, Raymond Floyd, Tom Kite, Fuzzy Zoeller, Craig Stadler, Jay Haas, Gil Morgan, Calvin Peete, Ben Crenshaw, Bob Gilder, Curtis Strange and Tom Watson as well as a photograph of them celebrating their victory along with team captain Jack Nicklaus.

Golf Links To The Past is proud to guarantee the authenticity of every autograph we sell. In addition, we provide appropriate documentation from official licensees who have commissioned private signings or we employ the services of the two leading independent autograph authenticating companies — James Spence Authentication (JSA) or PSA/DNA.
