Jones, Bobby - Scorecard - Pinehurst #2, Signed 1932

This exceptional piece of golf history is from a friendly match played in 1932 between Bobby Jones and his friend — golf professional and club designer J. Victor East. In 1932, J. Victor East worked secretly with Bobby Jones, who had retired from competitive golf in 1930, and Milton Rich to produce the country's first matched set of flanged soled irons with steel shafts. At the time, East was the first head of A.G. Spalding's Custom Built Department and the clubs ushered a technological breakthrough for the game. Many of the game's top players, including Byron Nelson, Horton Smith and Tommy Armour, played with this technologically advanced equipment.

This original scorecard from the famed Pinehurst #2 is signed in a bold, full vintage signature by Bobby Jones to commemorate a hole-in-one by J. Victor East. Additionally signed by East — this scorecard represents a significant piece of golf history and is beautifully presented in a custom, handcrafted full leather binding.
