1913 U.S. Open Championship - Vardon, Ouimet & Ray Autographs

The 1913 U.S. Open Championship -- what a tremendous, heart warming story!! Books and movies have told the tale of how twenty year old local boy Francis Ouimet was able to best the two veteran British professionals, Harry Vardon and Ted Ray in a three-way playoff to win the title.

Played at The Country Club in Brookline MA. Francis, who had learned the game as a Brookline caddy, became the first amateur to win and increased the popularity of the game.
