Olazabal, Jose Maria - Autographed Trading Card

Born: February 5, 1966 in Hondarribia, Spain
Card Size: 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"

In 1994, Jose Maria Olazabal became the sixth European Masters champion in seven years. On Sunday, the action centered around Olazabal and third round leader, Tom Lehman. With an eagle at the 15th, Olazabal opened a 2-stroke lead. Lehman missed birdie putts on the 16th and 17th, then finished with a bogey on the 18th to give Olazabal a 2-shot victory.

The 1999 Masters was a showdown between Olazabal, Greg Norman and Davis Love III. Despite the fact that the crowd was pulling heavily for Norman, who was back in contention after his startling 1996 collapse, Olazabal made key birdie putts at the par-five 13th and par-three 16th, to win by 2-strokes over Love, and 3-strokes over Norman. With his victory, Olazabal became the Tournament's 14th multiple winner.
