Jones, Bobby - Autographed Letter

Muirfield Village Golf Club - a dream of Jack Nicklaus that he turned into reality when it officially opened in May of 1974. This handsome and historic memorabilia features an 8"x10" photo capturing a moment between Bobby Jones and Jack Nicklaus at the 1960 Metropolitan Golf Writers Association dinner celebrating the 30th anniversary of Jones' Grand Slam. Nicklaus was the reigning U.S. Amateur Champion.

In addition to the 8"x10" photo of Jones and Nicklaus is a letter from Bobby Jones to Richard Gordon dated Feb. 14, 1968 on Jones' personal letterhead. The letter reads:
Thanks for sending me the newspaper cutting about the new golf course projected by Jack Nicklaus. I, too, am looking forward to seeing you next month. The letter has been signed "Bob Jones" and is a referring to Muirfield Village Golf Club.
