Faldo, Nick Autographed Photo
Born: July 18, 1957 in Hertfordshire, England
At the 1989 Masters, Nick Faldo posted an impressive 65 in the final round to get into a playoff with Scott Hoch. On the first playoff hole, Hoch missed a half foot putt to win. As the ball slipped by the hole, so did his chances of winning. On the next hole, Faldo's birdie would win.
The Masters were decided in a playoff for the second straight year in 1990. Nick Faldo won on the second playoff hole as Ray Floyd drowned his chances by putting his second shot in the water at 11. Faldo became the 2nd person, with Jack Nicklaus to win back to back Masters Titles.
Nick Faldo began the 1996 Masters six strokes behind Greg Norman. As the action unfolded, Faldo fashioned a masterful 67 while Norman came undone with a devastating 78. This was Faldo's sixth and final major.
