Harvie Ward's 1957 Masters Low Amateur Sterling Trophy Cup
  Price: $60,000.00

Item # ASM1120

Truly a rare offering, the sterling trophy presented to Harvie Ward for finishing as low amateur in the 1957 Masters Tournament. Ward's total score of 288 placed him fourth overall in the tournament won by Doug Ford. Harvie Ward was a fine player who won two U.S. Amateur titles and is one of a handful of amateurs to contend for a Masters title. Ward played in 10 Masters Tournaments from 1948-58, missing only the '49 tournament. He finished in the top 24 four times. Augusta sterling is some of the most sought after in tournament golf and once attained rarely leaves a family; this may be the only Masters trophy ever offered on the open market.

Housed in a custom built leather clamshell.
