Sculptor Michael Roche captures the great Harry Vardon; who along with James Braid and J.H. Taylor made up the “Great Triumvirate”, the original big three in the early 1900s. Considered by many to be the father of the modern golf swing, he developed the interlocking grip known today as the “Vardon grip”. This pewter mixed metal sculpture depicts Vardon at his prime in full follow through.
