This bronze sculpture captures Arnie and the shot heard around the golf world - his drive off the par four first tee at Cherry Hills in the final round of the 1960 U.S. Open. This shot resulted in Arnie driving the green and culminated in his final round 65 and come from behind victory. According to Arnold Palmer, "This sculpture captures the moment so well, it's hard to believe Karl wasn't there on the tee with me at Cherry Hills in 1960."

A low handicap golfer, he has an exceptional eye for capturing the distinctive swings and likenesses of famous golfers.
