Although a short par 4, the undulating fairway, large green, adjacent bay, temperamental wind conditions and the generally exposed nature of National's Cape hole, can make for a difficult par even for the low handicapper. This view with its turbulent sky, gives the player a hint as to the ever present changes of weather that accompany this seaside location.
