This par 4 fourth at architect George Thomas' wonderful 36 hole public facility in Los Angeles is sadly, no longer in existence. Coincidentally, as a "dusk" or "twilight" landscape, this painting can be seen as a metaphor for the setting sun and imminent demise of yet another grand golf course Of particular note, are Thomas' typically gorgeous bunkers that flank a green where pin placement dictates tee shot position.
