Bobby Jones Replica Putter
  Price: $295.00

Item # 41002

Bobby Jones began putting with his original Calamity Jane after a friendly round at the Nassau Country Club on Long Island just before competing in the 1923 U.S. Open at Inwood. On the 18th green, Jim Maiden, the older brother of the East Lake pro, heard Jones complaining about his putting and handed him a putter he had named for the famous woman sharpshooter from the old west. With his first stroke, Jones holed a 30-footer. Maiden insisted that Jones keep the club, which he did, and used it successfully to win the U.S. Open days later.

Fashioned after the original, Golf Links to the Past is proud to offer this replica of Bobby Jones' famed putter. Handcrafted in St. Andrews, the putter's head is stamped with the original Wm. M. Winton of Acton cleekmark (the mark of the clubmaker) and Jones' signature, then completed with a beautiful hickory shaft and an authentic suede grip. We can't guarantee you'll sink every 30-footer using the club, but you'll sure look good trying.

Handcrafted in St. Andrews.

Due to the tanning process, color of the suede grip may vary from putter to putter.
