This magnificent collection of signed letters and memorabilia relates directly to Golf Magazine and Sports Illustrated’s celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Bobby Jones 1930 Grand Slam. The collection consists of a 2-page letter on Jones personal letterhead to Golf Magazine’s Editor Charlie Price, dated March 20th, 1967 as well as a 2-page letter from Price to Jones on Golf Magazine letterhead, dated May 20th, 1960. Furthermore an original copy of the commemorative 1960 edition of Golf Magazine celebrating Jones’ Grand Slam is included as well as the 1960 Sports Illustrated that celebrated the same monumental accomplishment. Finally – a letter from SI Editor Sid James to Bobby Jones dated August 23, 1960 is also included in the custom, handcrafted one-of-a-kind full leather binding with related embossing, gold inlay and 3 corresponding photographs of the legendary champion.
